BMW M3 Tornado

We’ve been aware of G-Power’s BMW tweaks for a while now. Its two most recent efforts, the M6 Hurricane and M5 Hurricane, have come with headline grabbing 225mph+ top speeds.

And now it’s the turn of our favourite M-car, the BMW M3 Coupe, for some G-Power tweakery.

Compared to its bigger brothers, though, the M3 Tornado gets more subtle modifications. The 4-litre V8’s power is hiked from 414bhp to 493bhp, a rise of about 20 per cent, while torque climbs by a similar proportion from 295lb ft to 354lb ft.

The extra poke comes courtesy of a tailor-made ASA supercharger with a 0.3 bar boost, as well as a new intercooler and a performance exhaust system. By comparison, the M5 and M6 Hurricanes gained whacking great twin-superchargers that added an extra 240bhp and 207lb ft of torque.
