A new rumour says that Lamborghini is preparing a Reventon Roadster as a final farewell to the Murciélago. The limited-production Reventon was technically based on the Murciélago LP640. A Reventon Roadster would most probably use a rag-top for its roof and be even more exclusive than the coupe. Apparently just 9 cars will be built. |

For the first time we have a video showing the new S-Class Coupe in action during harsh winter testing. The big two-door was caught on camera about 100km from the icy town of Arjeplog in Sweden. Much of what could be disguised is left out in the open and all that is left under the covers are the bonnet, the front lower grille and parts of the rear end. Presumably these are the areas where most changes were made. |

Tim Cooper came up with a hideous set of pumps inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo. Now, a French designer at Subaru in Japan has come up with sneakers that pull their inspiration from the Lamborghini Reventon. They’re a little blunt at the front, but otherwise — and as one might expect — they’re sleek, angular, olive drab, and boast a healthy dose of carbon fiber trim. |

Industrial design enthusiast Iulian Bumbu of Romania turned up this design study of what a future Lamborghini might look like. The concept is called Lamborghini Insecta and it is inspired substantially by the world of insects. Structurally the concept is made of carbon-fiber. It is 4.3 metres long, 1 metre high and 2 metres wide. The two-seater study also has a wheelbase of 2.65 metres. Bumbu says the same powertrain found in the Gallardo applies to his concept car. |
